Egyptian-Italian project to detect impacts East Delta satellite

 

Preparing the national authority for remote sensing and space science to start the implementation of a joint Italian-Egyptian project next September in cooperation with the Italian Space Agency to detect effects in altamilat Valley in the East of the Delta and the Eastern Egypt portal using the techniques of remote sensing and satellite imagery and geographic information systems.

Dr. Ayman desouki, head of the Commission today. this project marks the beginning of activating cooperation agreement signed between the Italian Agency and satellite imagery covering large areas of the Earth’s surface and is easy to identify the location effects through analysis of satellite images.Pointing out that the project is funded from both sides and comes within the framework of the strategy for employment of physical and scientific potential and human development issues in Egypt.

 

For his part, Dr. Abbas zaghloul full-time professor in the use and applications of remote sensing in detection of effects of altamilat Valley in the East of the Delta aimed at monitoring places where there are unknown and which effects failed to archaeological science missions for access to difficult and bumpy roads.
