The mine detector EBEX 420 portable,  is a particularly effective device for detection of ammunition remaining on the battlefields, such as anti-personnel mines with low metal content, anti-tank mines and UXO. The mine detector EBEX 420 is a modular and easy to use.

 

The design of this detector has been studied to simplify logistics and maintenance on the ground, allowing interchangeability of subsets without training or tools. Ease of use with a single button makes it ideal for use in difficult conditions.


The mine detector EBEX 420 is available in sinusoidal version or version to induction of pulses. The two techniques have different advantages.

The sine wave mine detector EBEX 420 SI is very sensitive to low conductivity metal objects. This allows the detection of mines, which under normal conditions are almost undetectable. It consumes little power and therefore can be powered by a single battery, which makes the compact and lightweight unit.

 

The mine detector EBEX 420 SI exists in standard version and short version designed for use on their knees.

 The  mine detector EBEX 535 is based on a method of induction of pulse differential. Very high sensitivity to small amounts of metal, an excellent interference suppression, a very wide audio dynamic are characteristics of this concept.

 

The mine detector EBEX 535 is designed for the detection and fine location on conductive plots, ammunition, mines, explosive devices and weapons.

 

The mine detector EBEX 535 allows a very precise location. The presence of metal objects is indicated by two tones. The center of the detected object is indicated by the audio signal between bass and high frequency change. The technology allows to work successfully on highly mineralized land or generating of strong interference.

 

For a better adaptation to the different types of searches, the mine detector EBEX 535 offers three levels of sensitivity and modes of research (dynamic or static). In dynamic mode, no compensation is necessary. In static mode, the detector is compensated manually.

 The mine detector EBEX 421 GC  is designed to detect and fine location, on conducting land, mine low-grade metal, munitions or IEDs. It is based on a method of induction of pulses with compensation of mineralized soil, and interference generated by volcanic or saturated laterite soils in particular. It can be used on conductive soils where other technologies would be ineffective. This material is therefore usable everywhere around the world.

 

In several places around the world, the mine detectors can be influenced by different soils consisting of laetrile, magnetic stones or soil become conductive due to heavy rains like the monsoon. The high level of compensation of the mine detector EBEX 421 GC allows effective detection in these conditions, but also on soil generating interference, as the wet beach sand.

 

Thirty years of experience and close collaboration with users have led to this modular design. Subject to wear subsets can be interchanged easily. This facilitates the diagnostic techniques and significantly improves the availability of the equipment on the ground.

 

The mine detector EBEX 421 GC consists of:

• a research circular Ø 230 mm probe

• a tube extension

• an electronic module with adjustment knob

• a speaker piezo with cylinder protection

• compartment to battery (or battery pack)

• a set handle and rest-elbow

• a standard plate

• a carrying bag

• operating instructions

 

Optional accessories: helmet, carrying case, large probe Ø 450 mm for the mine detector of UXO buried deep.
