The Titan 1000 XD is announced as a 4-in-1 detection device, and for good reason. First, it has automatic tuning. Secondly, it has automatic ground balancing. Third, it has automatic technology features, and fourth, it has automatic target identification.
This demonstrative approach is a new method for me. I put this device in Shelly's hands, eleven years old. It took just five minutes to give her some basic instructions on usage techniques and highlighting and refreshing for metal detection, and I turned her loose (with two other children equipped with Fisher and Garrett starter units) in a quarter-acre play area behind a church. Before sharing the amazing digital find, Shelly conducts her investigation, studying Titan 1000 XD.

It can be used to find all kinds of treasure, but I feel it is more suitable as a starter coin shooting unit. The pre-set automatic features make operation real and ready for detection. It also has a good user-adjustable depth reaching up to six inches in increments of two inches (2,4,6). This does not mean that this device will only find items up to six inches deep.
The Titan 1000 XD is part of hobby technology
In fact, I have dug up coin-sized objects as deep as about 10 inches. The Titan 1000 XD is part of the new hobby technology machines that are very attractive, lightweight, and easy to use. It is just slightly less expensive than starter units from the four major American manufacturers and does not have the appearance of being a powerful and durable machine for hunting in rough terrain. However, it may seem deceptive.
What can you find with Titan 1000 XD metal detector
This is a beautiful, good depth machine that will find a lot of treasure. As I mentioned earlier, I took three young men outside for about an hour and fifteen minutes to a playground behind the church in the Titan 1000 XD test field and compared it with two other units as well.
Chile uses Titan 1000 XD and the Kevins use 150 Ace Garrett, and the cages used are from Fisher 1212 X. In our collision area, we used the project detection with more than $250.00 in coins buried from metals on Easter.
And the Easter hunt on Sunday for children reached over $200.00 in coins, with the coins perhaps still buried in the quarter-acre paths, most of the coins only a few inches deep for this treasure hunting project. The three were given training instructions by Brent for five minutes, and he turned them loose.
Finding the coins was explosive, and I was amazed at the results. Kevin found 45 coins totaling $4.59 (11 quarters, 10 dimes, 15 nickels, 9 pennies) using Garrett.
I found a batch of 65 coins totaling $7.92 (23 quarters, 15 dimes, 10 nickels, 17 pennies) using Fisher. Shelly and both boys blew the conclusion away with a total amount of $11.38 (32 quarters, 20 dimes, 20 nickels, 38 pennies) using Titan 1000 XD coins. You can't find better than $1.50 per minute. The three beginners were using detectors, and Kevin is the only one of the three who owns a detector.
Garrett won 150 in January in the church children's contest. The second grader is very proud. Any treasure hunter would be proud of the results in Shelly. Finding the amount at 10:00 is no shabby work. And she said that she clearly demonstrated with Titan 1000 XD and found exactly twice the number of boys' coins.
To ensure the testing process was accurate in terms of finding coins, a spray was painted on one side of all 2,500 coins buried for the 'Easter treasure hunt.' There are now less than 80 buried coins left from that Easter promotion, and Kevin will have a chance to find the rest in his country.
Titan 1000 XD, manufactured by a Texas company, performed excellently in this children's project, and Sheli knew what she said that it was almost dug up every time a coin was recovered. And some coins were close to each other and gave incorrect readings when buried. I would recommend this detector without reservation for a new hobbyist or as a fun machine for a very experienced person. Here is to 'dig in it'!
